SUMMARY: |
|
The proposed rule amendments conform the rules with the Administrative Procedures Act of Oklahoma, clarify and streamline procedures for administrative hearings,
adjust the hours for inspection of agency documents, correct statutory cites, and correct grammatical errors.
The Administrator finds that the subject rules and rule amendments are necessary or appropriate in the public interest or for the protection of investors and are
consistent with the purposes intended by the Oklahoma Uniform Securities Act of 2004, the Oklahoma Business Opportunity Sales Act, and the Oklahoma Subdivided Land Sales Code.

PUBLIC HEARING: |

A public hearing will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 27, 2020, to provide an opportunity for persons to orally present their views. Each person will be
allowed a maximum of 10 minutes to speak and must sign in at the door by 9:30 a.m. in the conference room at the Oklahoma Department of Securities, City Place,
204 North Robinson Avenue, Suite 400, Oklahoma City, OK 73102-7001.

REQUEST FOR COMMENTS FROM BUSINESS ENTITIES: |
|
Business entities should evaluate the effect of the proposed rule and amendments upon their business operations. The Department requests that business entities
that would be affected by the proposed rule and/or amendments provide the Department, within the comment period, in dollar amounts, if possible, any increase in the
level of direct costs, indirect costs, or other costs expected to be incurred due to compliance with the proposed rule and/or amendments. Business entities may submit
this information in writing to Faye Morton, at the above address, before the close of the comment period on March 19, 2020.
